Paul P. John entered the alcohol beverage industry in 1992 and established John Distilleries in 1996. His passion for whisky eventually led to the creation of Paul John Single Malt, with the vision of crafting a world-class Indian whisky rooted in the character of its home.
The malt plant found its home in Goa, where the tropical climate offered a distinctive environment for whisky maturation. The first Paul John Single Malts were launched in the UK in 2012, marking the beginning of a journey that would take this single malt whisky from India to whisky lovers around the world.
